Rumble in the Jungle is the first scheduled event of the TexaSports 2026 football season. It is tackle football, ages 5U to 12U, and all teams are welcome.
The Dallas–Fort Worth weekend runs Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16 at DeSoto High School, with free team entry. The Houston weekend runs Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23 at C.E. King High School, 11433 East Sam Houston Pkwy N.
Both weekends carry a cook off, a cheer battle, a cheer showcase and a fastest man competition open to athletes and coaches.
Age divisions, brackets and matchups have not been announced, and neither have start times. They will appear here when TexaSports releases them, and not before.
