Queen of the Jungle is the first scheduled event of the TexaSports 2026 cheer season, and TexaSports calls it the official kick off before the season starts. It covers cheer, dance and drill, and all teams are welcome to come and participate.
The DFW Showcase runs Saturday, August 15 at DeSoto McCowan Park, 1400 South Uhl Road, DeSoto. The 3rd Coast Showcase runs Saturday, August 22 at C.E. King High School, 11433 East Sam Houston Pkwy N, Houston.
Both dates carry showcases, prizes and a foam party.
Divisions, the running order and start times have not been announced.
Rumble in the Jungle, the football opener, runs the same weekend in the same city as each showcase.
